Optimizing Cattle Grazing Distribution: Enhancing Profit and the Environment

This project examines the integrated aspects of cattle behavior, grazing management, and economics to develop strategies to improve cattle distribution and use of complex range landscapes. Improved cattle distribution can increase ranch stocking rates, reduce negative impacts to critical habitats, and improve animal health and performance.
